Welcome to the Sanday School website. 

We are a Junior High School for pupils from 3 to 16 years situated on the island of Sanday , one of the Northern Isles of Orkney.

We benefit from a close association with our community.  This, together with small class sizes and a wide range of activities, help to ensure every pupil has the opportunity to develop to their full potential.

We are 'Keeping The Promise' at Sanday School, Staff have taken part in professional learning to support and developing awareness and understanding of 'The Promise', Scotland's promise to care experienced young people to grow up loved, safe, and respected.

This year we have achieved our Bronze LGBT+ Charter School Award and our Silver Rights Respecting Schools Award.
